Driving from St. Louis to Perryville is just about an hour drive, I am honored that I have several clients that travel to me from around the St. Louis area. With THIS FAMILY – I should start with why they are so important to me! Chelsea and I shared a nephew for 10 wonderful years. He unfortunately passed away from cancer in December of 2021. On the same day that he lost his battle, she gave birth to their first son, Archie. The beautiful thing is, Archie resembles our nephew SO MUCH! I did have a few tears during our session, but happy tears. Remembering and feeling is the beautiful part.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I photographed Archie for his Cake Smash session a little over a year ago, I was so excited when she chose me to capture their new baby as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I loved their outfit choices for the family portion of their Newborn Session. We provide all the props and baby outfits and wraps. Neutrals with the choice of our white studio backdrop and bench. This is one of my favorites setups that we have for families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When there are big brothers and sisters in the studio I’m always so excited. Capturing the sibling pictures are some of the most important images that I ever capture for my clients. I have an array of setups but the most popular by far is the fuzzy rug. It’s so classy and timeless. Archie did so good and showed so much love to his little brother giving all the kisses and hugs!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I always tell my clients that Newborn Sessions can last from 1-3 hours. All of that depends on your baby. Some need to take a break and eat, others sleep through the whole session. There is no right or wrong way – your baby will lead the session and I go with the flow. Patience is truly what makes all the difference with the session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is best to book your babies Newborn Session during the beginning of your 2nd trimester to ensure availability on our calendar. We only book a certain number of newborn sessions per month. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
