Family sessions are some of my favorites and I’m a firm believer that yearly or every other year a session should happen. I personally get our family photographed every other year and add new art to the wall every time. When our children are little, they grow and change so quickly – time you’ll never get back and pictures you will never have if you don’t get them taken. I would honestly do every year if I wasn’t a photographer myself and take their pictures through the year. Yes, even I hire someone to take our family sessions!

Courtney and her beautiful family traveled to me from the St. Louis area, I’m always so humbled when my clients travel to me from more than an hour away. Although it’s a short drive in the grand scheme of things, there are so many options to choose from in the city. (Just a small town girl ova here 🙂 )

Missouri Sunset Photographer

I specialize in sunset sessions and wouldn’t have it any other way! The golden glow and sun through the trees is truly one of the most beautiful sites evoking emotion through the whole session. Having your session printed into an album is the best way to keep your memories as heirlooms for years to come. I also practice what I preach with that – an album EVERY TIME we have a family session of our family as well.

This session was all done at one of my private beautiful locations that I offer for all family sessions! Outdoor family sessions are great when scheduled in the months of April – November. Our late summer – fall sessions always book out solid.
