Planning and styling 1st Birthday Cake Smash sessions… so fun! This sweet little girl had the CUTEST pale blue and neutral floral set up. Her Mom sent the cutest inspiration from this BLOG. I custom designed the color on the floral backdrop with Intuition Backgrounds (they are the BEST). The floral hoops were my favorite, adding just enough but keeping the theme simple, timeless and CLASSIC. All of those things are my love language.
The florals and fresh floral crown came from Butterfield’s Florist. They were so beautiful and vibrant. We paired it with a simple naked cake, viola!
Little Maisie was full of joy, big blue eyes and the cutest smile. She made our session so easy just by being her adorable little self. She reminds me of a real life baby doll – so perfect and cute!
She clapped, she danced, she laughed – all of the good things.
When planning a 1st Birthday Cake Smash it’s so important to start planning around 6 Months ahead of time. This gives us enough time to style the session to make sure it’s absolutely what you have envisioned for your little one.
Little Maisie was unsure about her cake at first but after a little she did seem enjoy the sweetness of it. Between the giggles and the curiosity she kept her dress pretty clean and only had a little bit left over on her face. I would assume to have as a snack later.. HA!
