Newborn Session
I was so excited when Lauren reached out to share the news of her pregnancy with baby #2! I had gotten the pleasure to photograph big sis throughout her whole first year which was a complete joy. I would see Lauren periodically through the end of her pregnancy at the local football games in Perryville. Her husband is one of the coaches and she was always there supporting with her baby bump. Her due date was RIGHT in the middle of end of season play but she still was ALWAYS THERE.
I was even more excited to learn that it was another girl – girl moms are awesome, am I right? When Adaline came in for her newborn session at my studio in Perryville, Missouri I could not believe how much she resembled her big sister. She was absolutely adorable. The only difference was, she was quite a bit bigger entering the world at a whopping 10lbs 11oz. The cutest little thing – as you can see.
Studio Newborn
Adaline’s Newborn Session was full of beautiful setups using all my custom props, headbands and layers. At Photography by Kasey Duvall, all props, outfits and headbands are provided for your baby – so no need to worry about bringing anything like that for them.

She did so well with what I call the “seamless” setup – or in a photographer’s world, we call it “table posing. All almost 11lbs of cuteness snuggled up and posed in the most precious way.
Perryville, Missouri Newborn Session
Adaline also had the most beautiful alert time. At times parents will stress because there baby isn’t sleeping. That’s no big deal at all, newborns sessions are totally baby led. If baby is awake, we swaddle and get beautiful wide eyed images.
Newborn Session
Towards the end of Adaline’s newborn photoshoot I pulled out the macro lens for the DETAILS – AH one of my favorite parts and parents love these too. There’s just something about these little details that can be easily overlooked unless frozen in time. Black and white or color.. I love both.
